The year 2008 was a wonderful and very emotional year for me. It took months to adjust to a life with one less beautiful human being to fully care for during the day. That year was the beginning of Georgie’s school life, a life she embraced with open arms while I was a blubbering mess! The first day of school arrived and the playground for the preppies was an array of blue shirts and blue hats and many mums in between – this is where I met Vicky.
Vicky looked confident and professional although I remember being drawn to her, I guess like me, she seemed a little anxious – it’s amazing how the smallest of things, a feeling or emotion can bond two people. Over the next couple of months Vicky and I really connected and our friendship grew.
Years on, we are great mates – the best part about our friendship is that we may not see each other or chat every day but when we reconnect we just seem to flourish. She has a beautiful family – and her husband Richard has to be one of the most personable people I have met – just seems to be able to chat to anyone.
Vicky and Richard, I sincerely hope when you look at these images they remind you of a wonderful time together with your whole family in such a natural, beautiful setting.
Until next time.
